::: Greetings from Critique Club :::
Hi, as requested, here is an indepth critique of your submission.
First Impression - the most important one:
It says a lot about this photo that I remember it vividly from the challenge. It took the spirit of the challenge and produced a memorable image.
Composition:
Composition is interesting and quite strong. Perhaps the subject should have dominated the composition a bit more.
Subject:
Clear, well defined and quite interesting ;-)
Technical (Colour, focus, and light):
Focus looks a bit soft to me, but I think this is from the noise in the image rather than missed focus.
Colour : Good B&W treatment, but I'd like to see the contrast bumped up just a bit.
Light: Light is good, exposure is good.
To grow its vote?:
Tough challenge, but I think the noise hurt you a bit.
Summary:
A well executed take on this challenge. As I said in my opening statement, you've created a memorable image.
Hope to see more from you soon,
Leroy |

hahaha, great facial expression on this guy. the title really makes the picture.
on the more technical side, i'd have liked to see more depth in the shadows. i don't mind the grain. a composition that allowed us to see more of the traffic cop would have been really nice - |

good reflex shot, you could have lucked out more on the framing (I would see it a little more wide angle) but in these condition you get what you get... (9) |

Great expression on the traffic warden's face. Nice capture but the B&W conversion seems to be lacking the full contrast range i.e a bit grey. |

Were you beat up? Nice isolation. Nice action shot. I think that I would crop most of the sky. It is very distracting. |

Good street candid and a good choice for B&W. Her expression is cute.
Not sure what happened on the left side of the pic - seems like a partial border - a bit distracting, but oh well - easy fix. (6) |

Nice moment. I think that DOF isolation is not used sufficiently in this picture for this challenge. |

That's a great expression you've captured. Overall, though, I'd like to see her legs; there's just this black trunk going down where they should be. I'll ignore the pole sticking out of her head since it's out of focus, but the whole shot (including her) seems grainy. |

Great capture. I am scared for you. Nice grain. I think it adds to the toughness. Contrast and exposure well done. |

To my eye, you haven't used shallow depth of field to set off the subject from the background. |
