Crop, levels, colors, USM, resize, save for web.

Ingerdients:
4 cups sushi rice
4 sheets of nori
1 tbsp sesame seed
1/2 pound fresh raw tuna
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1/2 tsp togarashi

Chop tuna and mix with mayonnaise and togarashi. Put a nori sheet on top of a bamboo mat. Spread sushi rice on top of the nori sheet. Sprinkle sesame seed on top of the sushi rice. Place the tuna mixture lengthwise on the rice. Roll up the bamboo mat, pressing forward to shape the sushi into a cylinder. Press the bamboo mat firmly and remove it from the sushi. Cut the rolled sushi into bite-sized pieces.

Interesting composition. The position of the chopsticks tend to pull my eye out of the image. :(

Decent arrangement with an appropriate background. The sharpness of the food is a little off. It looks as though the camera were focused just in front of the food but not right on it.

Good lighting, I like the round items on the square plate. The chopsticks add interesting detail. The image seems off balance, perhaps if the bammboo pattern was parallel with the frame, like a horizone line. Also to me it appears the reds could have a touch more saturation.

you should do this with fill-flash, i believe it would be better photo

There is a LOT of negative space in this image. Maybe placing the chopsticks on the plate and then cropping would take care of this. This way, all that background isn't left to distract the viewer from the important subject material.
