ineffable \in-EF-uh-buhl\, adjective:
1. Incapable of being expressed in words; unspeakable;
unutterable; indescribable.
2. Not to be uttered; taboo.

Society sometimes tries its hardest to censor things, and itself, in order to 'protect the better good'. However, it usually doesn't do any protecting, and in the end only serves to oppress. As a gay man in today's society, I don't feel as silenced as we once were, but sometimes I feel it pretty profoundly, in certain circumstances. The word today reflects this in many ways.

I am trying to figure out what the medium of stitching is supposed to be. I thought at first it was wrinkled audio tape material. That didn't look quite right when I saw the image, now it just looks like something drawn on. Maybe that was the point.

I was almost expecting strings. Or leather thong... There's a bit of football in this imagery too. (no, not the guys in spandex slapping each other's butts, the ball)

If I wasn't so lazy, I'd probably try something like this myself with thread, maybe raspberry jam (desaturate the blues) and put the rest in B&W.

I guess that means the image is inspiring.

The thumbnail was creepier (it looked like you *really* stitched your mouth up) but the big version is still creepy...and great. I love it.

I know... agh. I put the "blood" on, and then decided I didn't like it much, but then got lazy and didn't feel like backtracking all the steps, so kept it in.

Oh well. :)

the red "blood" is a little unconvincing, otherwise a fantastic image. well done, great idea.
