First drive 80 miles to the Amish Store in Bethel Springs and purchase 50lb bags of grain. After you return home mill grain into flour and proceed as follows.

Disolve 2 teaspoons yeast in 1/2 cup very warm water. While yeast dissolves scald 2 1/2 cups soy milk along with 2 tablespoons of honey and 6 tablespoons olive oil in a sauce pan. Then cool soymilk to room temperature and add yeast mixture. Combine five to six cups flour with 2 1/2 teaspoons salt and add soymilk and yeast mixture to flour. Mix well and then turn out onto floured board or counter and knead until very smooth - about twenty minutes. Place in a bowl and cover and let rise for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours in a warm place. Punch down dough when doubled and separate into two pieces and allow to rest covered with a dishcloth while you oil two 8 by 4 inch loaf pans. Shape loaves and place in pans and allow to rise again for about an hour. When dough arches well over the top of the loaf pans slash top of loaves with a sharp knife and place in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for about 45 minutes.

Cool for thirty minutes before slicing and then enjoy your whole grain goodness.

Very good arrangement. Solid white background perfect for this composition. Perspective is fine and the technical quality of the image is very good.

Simple, but who doesn't love bread. Good exposure, contrast, focus and composition.

The bread looks burned a little.

Excellent detail in the bread. To make it more interesting, I'd probably place it on a bread board, warm up the general tone of the photo, and maybe even add some wheat sheafs (dried florals at most craft places.) But don't listen to my compositional insights, because my scores are generally really low so maybe for this group, it would have been too much detail.

Composition is a bit dull - the bread and grain is very nice. But perhaps flour, or a knife, bread basket, cutting board...something is lacking with it just placed an a plain white BG.

Just perfect. Would work well for a cookbook or some such use. The little grains add just the right touch. 10

Simple but effective. I like the way you have used the wheat grains to fill the spot on the left. The only suggestion I could make for improvement would be to use an egg-white wash or a little butter to give the top of the loaf a little sheen for more visual appeal.

Nice, clean shot with good composition and nice detail. I particularly like the lack of background detail and also the scattering of grains by the loaf. Overall it seems a touch dark to me but only a touch. One of the stronger entries, in my opinion.

I love the inclusion of the whole grains. The bread looks great, too.

the picture quality is pretty good, but there is little to guide the eye. I'm tempted to focus on the grains, even though the cut slices are nicely laid out. Maybe try to focus in on the texture through the use of a larger aperture.
