Joey, Joey, Joey, no grunge filter? HEHE, no worries this shot still rocks! Well done man. I love your view of the world, this is a refreshing portrait I like the contrast of the beautiful girl and the grungy alley she's in. Perfect title for this shot. I hope it's doing well.

Great angle, comp and detail. I would have liked this more if she wasn't smiling. Your subject and treatment infers some unease, but she looks just so happy and sweet!

Nice one Joey. It works quite well without grunge. I like the dynamic tilted lines. 8.

Excellent photo. I love the angle and the post-processing to get the colour. I also really like the over exposed bit. 10

This is a lovely shot. The hair (I think it is hair) on her forehead is a little distracting.

The angle of this image makes it a stronger image.....

While the backdrop is interesting...I have no idea why your subject is standing there. Her pose and dress seem out of place as if the background is trying to affect some gritty, sort of cool.

Edited to say, "I'm such a fool". My apologies. My speed voting system occasionally prevents me from reading the title, which would be the intelligent thing to do before commenting.

You rock ma bruthah!

I like the idea but I'm not sure the model is wearing the right clothes or behaving in a manner flamboyant enough to make the contrast more striking

There is just something a little bit "off" about the composition that I don´t like, can´t put my finger on it but I think it´s a mixture of the subjects placement, the DOF and the angle it´s shot at but everything else is top notch, especially the lighting. Gave this a 7 in the end, nice work.

Great emotion in this one, as usual she has a great expression, lovely colors, a lot of depth and a very inspiring angle makes this a pleasant 10 to watch! Great shot!

Joey, This was one of my favorites of yours from the year. There is something about the contrast of a pretty girl with the disgusting alley background that just seems to work. Excellent processing, as people have come to expect from you. Nice choice on the angle, which works really well with the hair being blown by the wind. Good composition. Nice soft skin, again contrasted by rough textures of brick. Overall, a very good shot!!!!

Nice effect. Please share how you obtained this effect after the challenge is over...

To me, the angle makes the image more interesting then it otherwise would be. The scene itself is an interesting contrast and matches the title nicely.

Good job.

Maybe it is because the girl is so pretty, but I really like this image!

Sharp, moody, texture, this one is great. The girl adds immensely to this shot as does the overall brownish tone. 8/10 easily for me.

Hello Joey. Your perspective is beyond your years. The blown out spot anchors the image. The processing is sublime. You sure you're not a front for some overpaid, aged photographer who is going through mid-life crisis? 10.
