Photography I have heard is about editing. Editing the out everything except what you want the viewer to see. When I look at this I am not sure what you want me to see. The 'balls' the shoppers, the mall, also words are really bad in photos for the most part, first thing we want to do is read them, so unless they are the focus fund a way to avoid them.
The editing can be done by zooming in or by using shallow depth of field.
Just my thoughts...good luck

I'm sorry, but to me the subject matter just isn't very interesting.

I love to shop, and this image is very tempting, well done.

I don't want to sound rude, and maybe it is, but is this the best picture you took all year a shot at the mall at Christmas time? Here's hoping for better photo ops in 2006.

This photo would be improved if there was a more defined subject. It seems like everything is in focus and that make it hard to know what to look at... maybe that was the point of the photo... so people could feel what it was like not to know where to start when shopping?

Interesting perspective.

can't really tell what you're after here. this seems to be a snapshot in search of an image. but hey, that's just my opinion. as long as you love the shot, that's what matters.

Very very busy photo with no real focal point. Just too chaotic.

This needs to be rotated slightly CW to get it straight. I think that would improve it.

I would love to be able to get shots like this, but any mall I go into in my area, they confiscate your camera. Love the balls floating. To make them appear even more suspended, I would suggest that you clone out all the strings holding them so that they can't be seen. You did a pretty good job of it in the closest balls, but the ones in the back have real tell tale signs of strings. Nice saturation and color.

neat illusion. Looks almost photoshopped. Would have been neater if perhaps the shutter was open longer and set on a tripod blurring the activity in the back. This would have focused on the stillness of the suspended ornaments contrasting the holiday activity. Also if you had gone later in the day lowering the light source from the skylights causing less reflection of them.

I am not sure what your message or intent is with this shot, to be honest. Yes, it's clearly a mainstream American shopping mall with Xmas decoration. But why? It's exposed just fine, and sharp, yet it doesn't tell me a story, unfortunately.

I'm having a difficult time understanding the point of this image. It looks like you got the white balance correct, and the coloring is good, but I don't see anything as a focal point. Without something clearly in focus, I'm just seeing a snapshot of a mall.

Too busy. There are too many competing things going on in the photo and no one thing draws my attention. The result comes off as more of an offhand snap than anything else.

composition is ok, the 1st and 2nd levels are roughly on 1st and 2nd third of the image, but those balls are really distracting, they are just all over, without having a purpose in the image... go back and shoot a new image from the same spot after the balls are gone, it will make a great architectural image..
