Crosses are shapes and symbols of religion and salvation. I took this at night using a Canon Rebel XT with a standard 35mm lense. I brought up the shutter speed a little higher than the light meter said to do to make sure that it was sharp. Came out nice I thought

Interesting. The "thermometer"? in the bottom left detracts from the icicles, would it have been possible to crop it out?

Good lighting, however, if the center of the cross was the emphasis of focus, it would have helped brought more attention to that shape.

Uninteresting subject. Harsh lighting.

The bottom of the cross fading into darkness makes it hard for its shape to stand out; my eyes are more engaged by the bricks.

this seems more about the shadow and the light then the actual shape of the object
