I would call this one "Happy Dog" ...looks like she's proabably waggin' that tail even though we can't see it!

Really nice expression and feel to the shot, but it appears a bit dark on my monitor (which usually runs a bit bright.) I would try to brighten the white level a bit, and if you can bring out the eyes a bit more, that would be great. The catchlight is good, but the eyes just seem like black marbles...no color variation. She seems like such a sweet pup!

THis is my fav of the series. She's so happy and relaxed. Love her eyes. In a perfect set up, the berber carpet would be a black or white solid surface, but in a home setting, this is awesome!~! The colors are wonderful yet not overdone. BRAVO my good pal!!!

This is cute but I am not sure if there is focus on the eyes, the legs and teeth seem to be nicely in focus but not the eyes and ears. Might just be my eyes or the soft vignette you have used.

Another beautiful photo. great head shot, nice expression. I like the DOF and PP blurring.

Very Nice! again, i really like the detail shown in her! i find the exposure a bit off in this one. Did you use fillin when taking this? The glare off the eyes is a bit harsh... but it may just be my monitor b/c i'm not on my usual computer. Very Nice!

Once again, I love the fur especially on the back.

from thread:
wonderful expression, nice warmth to it. personally i'm not a fan of the title, the photo seems too nice for a candid quote. There seeems to be some haloing of some description round the head (using the term loosely) which could definitely be dealt with. Also, I'm not sure if the background could be smoothed in the middle left where there's that stray white bit going into the grey stripe. But this probably isnt really necessary, i'm just trying to find fault cos its an awfully nice photo. One finally thing you dont notice til staring at it for ages, is the background above her (his?) left (from my pov) canine. Possibly been missed out in postprocessing.

An absolutely stunning expression capture here (just to declare an interest, I love dogs) and the catchlight in the eyes is a knockout. Perhaps Shasta could be a touch lighter, however, to make her stand out from the background a little more. The in-focus parts are wonderfully sharp, to boot.
