At the very least this should make for some interesting additions to the rules. I do believe the rules say the photograph must come from a single exposure...

cool and very well done multi-exp.
How many tries did that take?

wow a DSLR that does multiple exposures... very nice (and a very nice use of that feature, as evidenced by your ribbon). I wish Canon would add that feature... I've been missing it.

Wow, I'm relieved that I finally got a ribbon under my belt. Thanks everyone for all the great comments. My better half, Ling-Ling wanted me to shoot her little cup and I thought it looked like one of those fat exhaust pipes you see on Honda cars when you tilted it. And yes, multiple exposures are legal as long as they are done inside the camera. This DPC club has such tough competition, which make us all better photographers.

Very nice image and excellent technical execution. Well done!

I'm a bit confused by the 'basic editing' description of 'multiple exposure' though. I'm assuming that it 'bans' multiple images and not multiple exposures?

Love the dominate shapes of the circles seen here in this entry. The inner blue just popps out from the textured 'pipes' (my guess is that they are exhaust pipes of a motorcycle or car). The black background really compliments that steel blue - our eyes are instantly riveted on the color and the shapes it takes. It is almost like 4 blue spherical moons.

That is quite simple concept. I like it. It reminds me the rockets of a space shuttle. 8

These are interesting subjects and the shadows and detail are good.
DOF might be improved if the texture was part of the impression you wanted to provide to the viewer.

I can't believe you did this under basic editing rules. My initial impression of the picture was very positive. Great colors. I gave 9, and I am leaving it as is, just in case.
