A beautiful restaurant beside my building, they have piles of wood outside that they use for their wood burning grills, fireplaces.
Every winter I can't help but notice the care they take in the way they pile the cords of wood, it makes the place look so quaint.

IN case anyone looks at this now, I had to add..I uploaded this with the intention of veiwing it online and then making neccesary re-edits....as is my practise. But in this week, the site crashed for a few hours and I was stuck with this heavily over processed entry..OOoops :)

Good try, but very soft. Almost has the texture of frosting.....great, now I'm hungry :D 4.

I really like your composition and the contrast in patterns. Wish it was a little sharper.

This is a bit busy and somewhat lacking in sharpness. I think tighter, sharper focus on the uppermost arrangemennt of logs would have isolated one pattern and made a stronger statement.
