This is not as eye-catching as some of the patterns in the challenge, but I like it a lot. It's the kind of thing I enjoy photographing myself. 7.

Not sure how much you had to work with, but I would have chopped what you had here more so that the patterning was more prominent. Shooting wise, I would have gone in further, if it were possible, to where the patterning was more even, thought I like the area in this, where it is not so even, in the upper left.
