Okay, yes, it is another flower. But its cold outside! I figure there will be lots of buildings and kitchen things like graters, so I yet again went with a flower. Give me a break. ;)

Ok - Three flower shots in a row. All well done I might add. ;^) This one surprised me as a choice for 'Pattern'. It's hard to get past the whole item and see the pattern. The brain automatically says "flower" rather than "oooh...cool pattern". I get the connection, but I'm thinking not many voters slowed down enough to give this shot due consideration.

As for the image itself, I really like the choice of composition and the exposure is right on setting up a nice tonal range. For some reason my eyes keep coming back to that one curled up petal positioned lower center...not a bad thing, just an observation.

Anyway - I was just catching up on some of the members I have marked as favorites and was passing thru your area.

Smile and keep having fun! ;^)

Nice color contrast and focus, almost wish the lighting were even across the whole flower.

The gerbera has layers of pattrning. I like the detail of the outer most layer but wish the lighting could have been adjusted to see the next layer in and the center.

This is gorgeous, I have shot similar photos with the same concept in mind, this is definitely a step further then I have ever taken it though. Kudos.

A new, interesting take on a common subject; very refreshing, I like it. The lighting is perfect.
