Challenge: Shallow DOF II (Basic Editing III)
Collection: my life stuff
Camera: Nikon D70
Lens: Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4D
Location: Lakewood, Ohio
Date: Dec 18, 2005
Aperture: 1.4
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/125
Galleries: Portraiture, Macro
Date Uploaded: Dec 18, 2005

This is my poor man's macro - the 50mm on backwards. My 8 month old daughter's eye - something about baby lashes and the simplicity and beauty really seems to have a special feeling. I had to get so close that there was a time when she actually ran into the lens. But there were no infants hurt during this photo shoot. I consider this a tough shot since she constantly moves and I was trying to use natural light and 200 iso while keeping the f1.4 for minimal dof ... Not much post-process - just sharpening and some tone adjustments in RAW conversion.
