Out at Nobby Farm Track today and was going thru some manual settings. This one brought the best feeling of speed for me. So here is my first submited photo.

I think the image would be improved if it were cropped so that the motorcycle wasn't so central. It would help to get the feeling of it moving forward as well.

could have used a better light effect

Good shot, but I think the bike isn't quite sharp.

plenty of detail in the rider yet it still merges into the background.. Tighter crop?

image could use some more brightness and contrast to bring out the colors in the bike/guy.

love the blurred trees and the trail of dust behind the back tire, while the rider is in clear focus. nice work!

Paddle tire?

this is a nice action shot. i think this shot would be much more effective if the subject was not centered. placing the motorcyclist more the the right of center would give him/her more room to move through the frame. or placing it more left would show the rooster tail and give the impression of zooming out of the frame, but centered subjects (especially when they're moving) can make shots kind of bland.

blurry. too centered. too far away
