I understand the meaning of your shot based on your title, but alone it doesn't convey an illusion or feeling of speed at all. Sorry.

Interesting interpretation...... The pink haze for the sky(?) doesn't work for me and the plant itself isn't that interesting at the moment.

Very interesting image, fun to look at - but it doesn't suggest speed to me in any way at all. Your title shoehorns it in.

Sorry not sure I understand this.....you mean that is how much it grew it that time? hummm. You would need to show the horizon so that we can see the height. This doesn't show me _speed_>?<

Were you going for "speed = distance / time"? Close enough, since this isn't math class! ;-) Though it doesn't really convey the sense of speed, I guess it's a sort of interesting alternate interpretation. The shot is pretty gray and dark looking. Don't know if this was intentional, but it doesn't really come out very appealing. The plants also aren't very sharp, and if you're going to stress the distance, then you should have showed the total distance traveled (I assume you're measuring from the ground).
