Purchased flower last weekend. A variety I had not seen before...this is supposed to pink...also comes in red and white.
Post: Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue saturation. Crop. Burnt the background. Cloned a hot spot and healed a hot pixel. Color cast removal. USM. Resize. USM.

Nice even tones in this one, I like the balance and composition. Not sure if this is something I'd see in a catalog though with the dark background, something lighter may have made it appear more festive.
The lighting, while doing a good job of hiding the background, doesn't do much for the flowers themselves. I'm not an expert on lighting so I don't really have any helpful suggestions, but I think it needs something to add emphasis, maybe having one cluster of flowers brighter or darker than the rest to create a strong focal point to the image.
