| The folds, wrinkles, and shadows in the background give this a sloppy haphazard quality and pull focus from the main subject. |

| Good attempt. The shadows would have to go for this one to be in a catalog. You might have been better off have several ligth sources for this one. |

| If you had some distance from your background (plus a large aperture), it would help the problem of seeing every wrinkle and that stark shadow. Plus it would be better if the top of the hat wasn't chopped off. |
