Ok, I like my idea. Inspired by Angela's ribbon winner from collections. Someone is standing on pointe in those socks. Cloned out the leg.

Here's my problem. As you can tell, it technically sucks. This was the only light coloured sheet I could find, and I had to use in camera flash. Thus, I got ugly shadows, which I only know how to do so much in PS with. So, here's my odd picture that I know what I wanted it to look like, but this is what I got instead.

PLEASE give me harsh critiques, but tell me how to fix the problems!!!

Ok, anyways, thanks for stopping by :)

Cute subject. However, lighting is very harsh resulting in harsh shadows.

Cute stockings! The background and shadow is distracting.

The folds, wrinkles, and shadows in the background give this a sloppy haphazard quality and pull focus from the main subject.

Good attempt. The shadows would have to go for this one to be in a catalog. You might have been better off have several ligth sources for this one.

If you had some distance from your background (plus a large aperture), it would help the problem of seeing every wrinkle and that stark shadow. Plus it would be better if the top of the hat wasn't chopped off.
