 The biggest pain with this was faking the test without using photoshop. I first tried just drawing the lines into the test and it turned out terrible so I ended up doing the lines on the computer, printed them out and put the cut out into the test. I tried a variety of compositions showing more of the model from a variety of angles but decided a close up of the test was going to get the point across best (especially at screen resolution). I did a variety of experimenting with depth of field and probably could have stood to have done some more but I was running out of time. Post processing was just adjusting the cameras tone comp and color mode in Nikon capture and then desaturating the yellows a little and cropping a small amount of extra space in photoshop.

The hand is distracting me from the test. Perhaps the hand should have been in focus?

Ooh what a scary one to have as the Too Late challenge, but I see your point in this picture, since it is so obvious that even an airhead like me couldn't miss! I love how blatant you were about it! It makes pregancy look so much more realistic. That looks like it should be an add for a Birth Control Agency. You should submit it!

Are congratulations in order?
Hand is out of focus. Probably should have been angled so that test and thumb are same distance from the camera.

Good idea, could be better by having more DOF for the hand to be in focus, preferably (especially with such apparently nice-looking hands), or crop out more of the hand.
