Great image, I love tyhe model, the textures, and the ever so sutle slow shutter speed. All very effective.
Great shot, and I wear flip flops year around. Cold is what you preceive it to be, not what it is.

Wonderful shot that in another challenge would have achieved a better score, IMO. Very good use of B&W. Very nostalgic mood (Bob Dylan's as some commenter said). Also like the composition.

Thanks for all the comments and the favorites guys...I appreciate it. I am particularly fond of this picture, I was indeed going for the Bob Dylan look when I took it. It was like 6 degrees out when I took it, I couldn't feel my feet when I got back to my house.

Once again...thanks

I agree with sher - this was underappreciated. Nicely done.

Right, some people are just never slaves to fashion! At least they are not white. Great pic, love the B & W, good contrast, composition and lighting.

Oh.. is it about the sandals.. perhaps a red circle?
Sorry..
But i do like the picture seems like a junk. Perhaps.. the title : Too late for live?
You have made a good picture. Therefore points.. i would not have given it the title you gave it.. still it matches the challenge if i only look at the picture.

Lots to like here, though I also have a few reservations. It feels forced into the challenge - it would, in the rush of voting, be easy for many to miss the sandals without your title, but images that rely on titles always seem to make for weak entries. Photographically, however, as a portrait I like this - and I'm no particular fan of portraits per se. There's an unpretentious moodiness you've captured - fortunately without resorting to the ridiculous 'grunge' thing that is infecting dpc. It's impossible to know, but if those a red bricks, I wonder if a different channel mix conversion might have allowed you to keep more detail in the shirt without blowing out the brickwork - that lack of depth is a little shame, I think. Composition if fine, and functional - my main grouch is just the lack of tone in the progression of the contrast here. Neat work though.

Nice photo, but without the title, I'd never guess that this image had anything to do with the concept of "too late"

Woah!! Bob Dylan revisited. Love the urban scene and the dripping water spout. The smoking pouring out of his mouth and blowing in the wind is great!! Love this in all its contrast!
