What I want to know is whether or not you chopped the fork into a smaller piece before you placed it there or if it's the entire piece of flatware... ;-) j/k

It's an excellent (and quite suggestive) shot. I scored it a 10 during the challenge. Great work! =D

Personally I think this should have got a ribbon. Cropped just right, black and white works very well, dof is spot on.
Great shot!

Cleverly done, but I would have liked it in colour, but that's just me.

Bumping this up a notch to a 10. Awesome skin tones and clarity, plus I love the expression and the whole fork illusion thing. At least I *hope* it's an illusion! And the fact that she's a hot babe doesn't hurt either :)

Why B&W? I bet she has the most interesting eyes. Normally B&W is used when the color does nothing to help the shot. Anyway good shot very sharp focus on the eyes. 8

That's a really nice shot, the only thing I would've wanted different is to see the fork in focus also since it's the subject of the challenge, however, the focus and clarity of the eyes makes you not wanting to even look at the fork, good job.

Very nice. The way the fork sits in her mouth it looks very natural. I also like this in black and white. For some reason I don't think it would have the same impact in color. Only complaint is that I think the focus should be on her mouth not her eyes.

Normally portraits this close up tend to blur, glare, etc. This is extremely well done and the idea is very imaginative and interesting. Certainly gets viewers attention. Hope it scores high for you. Good luck

The model has great eyes and seems to be the focus of this shot. I know you're suppose to have the eyes in focus when shooting a face this close but being how this is a challenge about utensils I think you needed to also get the fork in focus also especially when it's suppose to be the point of the shot.

Incredible shot! Very creative take on this challenge by minimizing the challenge subject and bringing out the beauty of the model. Wonderful lighting, DOF, and textures. Nicely done. <10>

This is a neat idea. Seeing how the subject of the image is the fork I wish the fork was in focus. Good choice of B/W to minimize distractions from the subject item. Good luck in the challenge.

Nice focus on the eyes, wish I could say the same for the moutn. IMHO the DOF is too short. The lighting and b/w conversion is good though and good image quality.

Great shot. I hope that's a short spoon fork.

great tones and sexy model. would have been a 10 except for the extended catchlight streak in the white of her eye.
