 Alien Bee lights: softbox 45 degree right side, flash-through umbrella ~45 degree left and 3rd bee as bg light. shot on white paper hung. Layed on the floor and shot like mad. Shots were a bit bright so PS included adjusting levels and contrast, desaturating red tones, touch of sharpen/blur, touch of burn, unsharp mask, save for web. oh bicubic down-sizing in 90% increments. not sure if it helps, but couldn't hurt.

You really do have dem babies down! I thought I'd commented on this during the challenge - I'm (obviously) wrong (again). I thought this would finish much higher, imo. Great crop, expression, and baby blues :)

Hey! nice job. There's another blue eyed baby picture in this challenge but I liked this one much better. Great finish in what was a jam packed field.

I would have never guessed it to be yours. I am glad I waited for the challenge to be over :)
Nice lighting and those blue eyes look surreal. Using a wide angle lens also adds to the overal impact of the photo.

I like the sharpness of the eyes. I suspect you saturated the eyes some, and I think that part looks a bit unnatural, but not terribly so. I also suspect you softened the skin (possibly with noiseware) which I don't care for. Good composition and crop.

My goodness. How sweet is that. Great BIG blue eye and that little tiny lip in the middle of the mouth. THe ears are great! Very well done. Good luck!

Fabulous picture! He looks like a baby and an 80 year old all at the same time- those "wise" eyes and those jowls. I would have titled it "Wise beyond his years."

This is really a cute baby. I don't know why it is the style anymore to cut off the top of the head in a portrait - to me, this would look SO much better if the whole head was in the picture. Also, it looks like a bit too much neat image - the skin really looks unnatural.

A cute and nice detail image colour and tone is very good and I like the title it gives the feeling that is what the baby is thinking
