This is a very pretty and crisp photo the focus is very good the dof used is good also. This photo would have done wonderful in a challenge entitled places or hometown something like that but as for the AT WORK challenge it simply doesn't meet the challenge. The rules read...

Challenge: At Work
Details: Photograph a person or group of people doing whatever they do to make their living.

This photo simply doesn't meet that, as pretty as it is, it just doesn't show peopel working.

Nice Toronto skyline... but I had to give a below average vote because the challenge said "Photograph a person or group of people doing whatever they do to make their living", and I don't think the people in the canoe are making a living. If they are, my apologies.

Lots of people work in those buildings. I don't see that this meets the challenge, though.

Nice shot but doesn't really fit the challenge.

well, the topic not quite met here....I like your angle but it is a bit too light for me

A fine landscape/cityscape photo...including the canoe is a nice touch, as are the bushes in the foreground. That said, this is a far reach for "At Work" (maybe near work?). 6 Rob the Swash

I like the shot, but I see this as being more about Toronto than about working. Nice town you live in, by the way!

I don't really see this as fitting into the theme of this particular challenge. It is a nice landscape shot. Looks like it was taken on a nice sunny day.

Looks like a postcard, the way it's framed. I'm not sure if it's the resolution or the photo itself, but the focus looks a bit soft on everything.

Wonderful picture of Toronto, I\'d love to live this close to the water. Like the composition, too, overall, the photo appears ever so slightly soft and a little overexposed (especially the white dome). You must have a DSLR because you have a couple of dirtspecs in the sky ... easy to clone out after the challenge, so no points deducted for that. I don\'t think you are really meeting the challenge (a person or group of people doing what they do for a living), sorry.

Sorry, I read the topic as 'people working at an everyday job,' not 'an entire cityscape with two people recreationally paddling a canoe in the foreground.' The shot itself isn't bad in any particular way, I just don't think it fits the challenge.

This would be an excellent night shot location, have you ever tried it? I bet that skyline would look great lit up. This photo doesn't have the same impact as a night shot would, although this is still good.

Very nice skyscape, but I think you missed the idea behind the challenge. Also I think it would be a better shot if you could have found a way to eliminate the bushes in the foreground without losing the canoe... But that's just me...

To much of a reach for me.

A nice shot of the city, no doubt, but the challenge clearly specified showing a person or people doing what they do for a living...

Yeah... but who in the image is at work and earning their living?
