Missed this challenge too. Great focus/DOF! Deceptively good shot. Should have placed much higher. Dan nailed it with the "stillness" comment about camouflage. Very cool.

i would have used manual focusing and focused on the subject. that is, if i'm composing it. the effect of the blurred leaves in front, a focused tiger and a tighter crop would have been more effective. hope it helps.

The tiger is definately a "camouflaged" type of animal, like the use of misrepresentation to hide him; ie focus on the grass. Think others may miss that and feel he is not hiding due to being camouflaged. Good luck

Nice. Hidden, yes, but not sure how orange camouflages into green.

Very clever capture, the sunlight on the leaves really helps in demonstrating the camouflage, shows how the white works
