Well, this image fooled me because for a strong fleeting moment it looked like the real thing. In the thumbnail it passes for more than a fleeting moment. This is indeed a camouflage not because it blends into the background but because it misrepresents with great success. Bumping from 6 to 8

Clever idea and well done. The digital "grain" works and so does the tone. 9

Clever idea and great subject / POV: I also like the monotone thing. 8

Looks more like an angry Taliban.
Not getting the camo idea here.

Hey, you almost got me, I had to look twice to see it wasn't the actual Statue of Liberty, LOL! Welld one!

I'm getting the feeling there is a double meaning to this shot but I'm not going to get into that discussion, instead I'll just comment on the photograph itself.

First, BRAVO! Great idea, nice concept and excellent overall composition of the shot. I like the use of the color on this one, the cold, forbidding blue and the way 'Lady Liberty' has her back turned to the camera really accents that color choice. The use of grain is also a bonus on this one. I normally hate grainy shots but this one works and works well. The cropping seems a tad off for some reason, maybe if it was just a touch tighter on the top so the torch is closer to the edge? Then to me you would have two exits on the shot, bringing them in on the right with the 'crown' and they can be lead out on the other side of the crown or the torch if the crop on top was tighter. An 8

I gave you a 4 because of the creavity and effort you put into this shot. I think you're missing a book though. I would have thought from this angle you'd be able to see at least the corner of the book. I'd give it a 6, but because this picture was lacking that book and it's grainy.

Disguised? Yes. Camouflaged? No.

Now somebody went to some trouble for this one. I thought it WAS the Statue of Liberty in the thumbnail. CLEVER. NOt really camouflage, but imposter for sure.

Difficult interpretation to evaluate, part of me says its disguise and disguise is not camouflage, but the definition of camouflage means to hide or disguise something. Technically its a fine image and artistically well done.
