Good effort...

I think this was a very "technical" DQ and one that might not have been clear by the rules in the form they were laid out. But I think your choice of actions, and choosing not to blast and decry the site council and concede DQ on a technicality however slim and uninsightful is very noble.

You have a good photograph, and you now know better. You'll ribbon eventually soon enough... ;)

By the way, I think this phot may demostrate a way to shoot the above legally. Had you arranged the leaves on the black border so you did not have to move them. Then it would have been only two images used. And been valid.

;)

Wow, love the simplicity and clarity of this one. The transition in the leaves is great!

Nice concept and execution. I'll assume you used at most three shots and not four. ;-) The background on the rightmost leaf seems a little less dark than the other two.

Nice choice. The background is a little too busy for my taste. Maybe if the background image were darker with a little less contrast, it might help. Overall I like the image though!

Actually I can count 4, not 3 pictures. Fourth makes a frame.

Without the background a 10.

good colours in the featured leaves. the ones in the BG are not as interesting, which is prolly just as well. good work.

7 - Very nice, well done. Criticism; not much, the only thing that 'distracts' me really is the grass left fore, but fairly minor, and the color certainly blends in, but I imagine it 'covered' thicker as seems to be in the rear, and I think it would make it a better triptych if it were, in my opinion. Good colors and good triptych application. Not sure on the seemingly fine white border/frame on the 'inserts'. Just realized - I think you have 4 photos here(?), unless the inserts are cuts, not sure, (apologies if wrong) - good luck.

I think this might not be following the rules since this is four shots. I could be wrong. I still like it though.

I apologize if you have gotten several similar comments, but I think there are four images here... The background image is kinda distracting to me (looks oversharpened and overexposed). Maybe if it were blurred or just plain white I would keep my eyes on the three leaves, which are nice photos.

Lovely. I like the diagonal placement of the images. Great leafy background too. Man, what an imaginative melange of images!!

SImply wonderful! The only thing I'm not sure about is the rules... you were supposed to compose the image out of max. 3 photos, and you have used 4. If you had two leaves you might have gotten away with this. Anyway, 10 from me.
