 A young Broad Wing Hawk, I think. He misses alot of mice and voles, but keeps on trying. He didn't migrate like most of the hawks in September, so hopefully we'll have a mild winter.

Beautiful series of captures! I think it would be even more dramatic if there was more variation between the second and third panels. Also the background on the third is a *little* lighter than the previous two. Great job though--each shot could easily stand on its own. :-)

great motion sequence. I love how you see the hawk tuck his talons in as he swoops down. my only criticism is that the bird seems crowded within the frames.

the difference between the lower two is too slight, which detracts from this otherwise very good series.

i wish you had kept up the progression through the frame estamlished in the first two into the third, and cropped him closer to the bottom edge. otherwise very nice.

The second and third panels are almost identicle. would have better if the wings were down on the third panel.
