 The original image was the anemones and vase on a black bacground. Processed and simplified with Buzz Simplifier No.1. Selected the background and inverted and made separate layers of the background and the vase/flowers. For the background layer choose a portion at the bottom and selected a fill color which I later replaced because I thought it too dark. Then used Flaming Pear India Ink and then Flaming Pear Twist plugins to get the bacground pattern. I have a specific set of setting for each that I have been using, but I make slight changes in them depending on how they look in the preview. The process was repeated for the upper background. Made another layer of the flower/vase layer and used just Flaming Pear Twist on it but lowered a setting or two to decrease the distortion as I did not want to paint this one....just did not have the time. Merged the layers and cloned areas around the edges of the flowers. Also smudge/blurred the line between the upper and lower backgrounds.
