After waiting all week for the weather to break and expose some of our beautiful scenery I finally got one short opportunity yesterday and was able to capture a number of snow geese shots against fresh snow and in the fall colored fields. Not the spectacular shots I had hoped for but the mountains just never did come out for me.
I decided on this one because I felt it would be different from the normal wide landscapes we will see in this challenge.

Love it! Great way to spice up the landscape by adding geese flying. The back ground is very muted and I don't know if there was any way for you to increase the contrast without making the birds become silhouettes. But that might look nice too.
