 my exposure was set at +2.0. my son. I browsed the internet and looked at all the low key shots and this is what I came up with. I like it.

I think my score will be 5.60 because the subject is not black. :-P

well done. i like this. the light on the ball and the hand and the glove and the protruding knee is very nice, but i feel like the image goes tonally flat when it moves toward the right. i'd almost like to see him wearing a black t-shirt so that it really broke down to just light and highlights. overall a very strong image, though. 8.

I really like the lighting here, especially its direction. The low key effect and his expression and stance makes me feel as if he will NEVER get to the major leagues--I hope that was your intention!

Excellent portait! I love the mood of this shot and wonderful use of composition. Perhaps a tiny bit more light overall would be good, but as the light stands now it does help to give a kind of despondant feel to the picture.

Tones very well mastered. Nice attitude that looks quite natural. Composition wise, I would have liked to see more of his left leg and a little less space at the top. Good image.
