 This may not connect to some but to me it says the end of the line for the leaves -- metaphorically the end of warmth.

Leaves fallen on a stone background... as found in the woods.

Cropped, adjusted levels, contrast, brightness, saturation. Cloned out debris, burnt edges and the background stone (for mood). Added a thin border, USM, saved for the web (at a lousy quality)

I like the two leaves in the middle, but the one on the upper left seems a bit...overly colored, or something - sorry, I'm not that good with the technical stuff.

I see the end of summer or the end of the leaves or even signals of the start of winter but I don't see a dead end.
