This might have benefied by some sort of lighting...whether from and/or additional lamp on the outside or a flashligt on the inside. Right now, the lighting just isn't bringing out what it could.

I am particularly fond of the naturalness of this on all counts!
The use of black inside and thelight showing the actual pulp
are both most interesting. The marker was a tad distracting,
tho.

There is something missing...... hmmm...... wonder what it could be? Oh I get it - where is the candle? This thing is supposed to shine and glow!!! I do like the rest of the lighting, though.

Good job on the carving and the detail up close. not sure about the faded out edges, but love the way it fills the space. Nice work.
