 Created using a long exposure and painting with light. The red dots are from an LED light that I turned on and off while repositioning to make the red orbs of floating light. The light trace is from a mini-mag light with tinfoil over the light with holes poked in the foil to achieve the ghostly effect.

The title comes from my two year old; HOWEEEEN, is how he says Halloween.

This was a blast to shoot only took me four tries before I got what I was after. I hope everyone likes this one I know that I sure do! Only thing hurting in this shot IMO is the front pumpkin isn't lit very well.

WOW! What a close finish!

The carvings are great so good point there. would imagine that pumpkin carvings like these would take some patience. I like the composition of the photo although I think a tighter crop might have showed off the pumpkins a little better. Also, I would have liked to have seen a little better lighting, especially to show of your corn foreground. JMO

wow, this is just perfect. It even looks like the devils are looking at the little floating lights. Great job carving, and nice still life composition as well!

Carving is extradinary and intricate. The lighting doesn't seem to be creating enough impact, though. I also thought the corn didn't do much to enhance the pumpkins.
