 I almost entered this in "busy" but thought it might get too many dnmc...and the shutter speed definitely created the impact of this shot. While it's not extreme, I think it provides the perfect mix of motion and stop action. You get the sense of motion without losing the emotion of the moment.

My original idea was to photograph a child's interpretation of busy. "Not right now mom, I'm busy!" which usually equals play of some sort.

Levels, desaturate, crop, neat image, resize.

I love the big smile on her face - really engaging! I bet this was beautiful in full colour too. I think I would have cropped this tighter - just below her elbows. I find the necklace detracts a little from this as a timeless photo. Lovely autumnal portrait.

7 - Good shot. Criticism; depending how many shots you got, the hands 'detract' from this shot in my opinion. The b/w works well, but perhaps some more contrast (but difficult with the clothing I imagine). I also want to say 'sharper' on the girl, but the soft effect is also nice.

I like the soft focus on the child, I love the expresion and the fun in this one.
