the ladybug was hard to identify and being placed dead center does not help visually. I like the idea with the wood chips and bug. Perhaps try a different crop with the ladybug placed on a thirds intersection. The colours could also use enhancing to bring out more of the contrasts in the wood grains, maybe through level adjustment and contrast adjustment. |

A very centred subject, but it works because of the alignment of many of the sticks and pieces of wood that seem to be pointing at the bug. |

I think that a different angle and a tighter crop would have helped this shot a lot. |

I get where your getting with this picture, however, i think it could use a little more focus on the bug... |

Nice capture of ladybug in the wood chips, not sure about the center placement of the ladybug. |
