 Changed to grayscale, auto levels, sharpened the edges, and added less than 10% noise. I hope this will make some viewers chuckle.

Wow, you must be really tiny or live around some HUGE oak trees. Anyway, I like the idea and the tonal quality of your shot. I think it may be a bit longer before you get your ribbon, but all in all, it is a memorable shot, and that is really more important anyway.
