cool subject! wish there wasn't as much shilouette (sp?) on the left side and more focus on the reflection...those blues are so crisp!

Good iimage.

interesting composition, just seems a bit contrasty with noise on bottom--but overall a very good capture--

It's too bad that you have so much dark zones on this great landscape and reflect

wonderful landscape with great contrast!

Beautiful shot. It is a shame the shadows do not hold any detail.

well composed and dramatic. I wish I could get skys like that. A lot of dead shadow space on the left, but that adds to the drama. My compliments on such a fine image.

Love the shadow and the reflection --- a standout in comparison to all the other landscape shots in this challenge. Well done --9--

Great clarity and contrast.

Absolutely stunning shot. The area where you are is in so much shade that the contrast it creates between the sky/mountain in the backround is imense and makes for a great reflection in the lake!

Is it really everest? how were you so close? I would love to go there!

This is very nice. The clarity is great. For me though I wish there was more detail in the major dark areas. Since the darkness is so prominent, it just feels as if much is missing.

The reflection draws less attention for me then the setting around it. More focus on the reflection would make this an excellent photograph for me.

aw man that's nice...a bit oversharpened, and the right part is overwhelmingly dark...but other than that, that's a really pretty picture!
10/20/2005 05:28:03 AM
The white lines of oversharpening distracted somewhat yet its sure a fine photo!

Great drama in the strong contrasts. Unusual.

The black in the middle is very overwhelming, but it is striking with the blue. I think I would have prefered a little less black or more white. Not sure though.

Deceptively simple and exceptionally powerful. If this is Punam, I'm glad to see you've solved your color balance problems. Wonderful shot, a tad oversharpened thouhg; see the halo between ridgeline and sky on the left...
