I like this, particularly the fact that the tree trunk and shadow in the upper right corner has been used to "balance" the photo, without pulling attention from the actual subject. I do wish I could tell what the critter partway down the right side is. :)

Nice shot, is the main subject the man or the duck? lol, but seriously, its a nice shot, good focus and the B+W looks great. I think keeping the duck and tree in was good as it helps break up the background. Good luck with it.

I really love this shot. I'm glad you kept it in black and white. It wouldn't be the same in color. You captured your subject's expression beautifully. It's just so pleasant.

Great subject! To me, it feels like it could have been panned down just a touch -- it seems like there is just a little too much headroom. But otherwise, it's a great, relaxing shot.
