the wrinkled sheet on which the lamps are standing looks unappealing. Perhaps a softer lighting, or a shorter DOF, or a different background altogether could improve it.

I think this shot could have been more effective if some extra care was taken with your backdrop. I find the wrinkles distracting

Good idea, but needs better execution. Better arrangement such as one towering over the other. Wrinkled background also distracting.

I think a bit more styling would have helped this image IMO. Particularly the rear lamp shade positioned more vertically. Good decision going b&w.
