The very small size of this image serves as a strike against it even before assessing the content, which isn't particularly interesting. Filling the frame with the cup and the man's face and using a shallow DoF to focus on one of these components would have been a good start.

I wish the photo were a bit larger. The maximum to submit is 640 pixels and I think it helps the viewer when voting. Also, your title says boiling hot, but the man in your shot in no way expresses anything to go along with your title, so I found that a bit...odd.

Try to submit a larger shot next time; it's much easier to judge.

Prob. got this message already, image is to small. You need at least 600 on the longest side, 640 is the standard........looks like its a ok image but hard to tell......3

Borderlines on a snapshot sort of feel. Meets the challenge, just doesn't have anything to really spawn interest.

you need to make your images larger so they can be evaluated. Image looks very awkward and staged

This is probably a good shot but it is too small to tell. Using a flash makes it look harsh.

Wow, thats a big cup of coffee! The picture is a bit small so its hard to tell that it is coffee, looks like ice cubes might be in there but that wouldn't make sense with the title.

it's a shame that the image is so small, i can't make out what's going on in that giant cup.

A bigger picture would score better. Also, there's a harsh shadow. I also don't understand the title. Nice try.

Don't get the sense of boiling hot. Where is the steam?
