The Yamato Coffee Shop was closed during the week for renovations, and we went in on the first day of reopening. Apart from coffee from all around the world, they sell traditional craftwork like pottery, bamboo craft and textiles, as well as coffee paraphenalia (grinders from Germany, for example). I asked if I could take photos but the manager said no - but it seemed to be all right if I took a photo or two of my complimentary coffee.

Converted from RAW, cropped, adjusted contrast, hue and saturation. Resized and USM. Then saved and wrung through NeatImage to get rid of the noise caused by the low light conditions.

it looks like tea

Something about this scene makes everything (particularly the plant) look fake. Too much sharpening &/or NeatImage, perhaps? Aside from looking artificial, I really like the composition of this shot; the only thing I think I'd change would be to make the distance between the edges of the frame and the subjects (particularly reed and the bottom corner of the trey) more even.

Hmmm. Would have been more convincing with tea. But - nice photo and great composition.

the colors need more punch. More contrast between the table and the tray.

Myself, I think a far tighter crop would have been stronger here. take off even the corners of the wood platter, so you see most the it's edge and a bit of table still, but the focus is up close on the coffee.
