Location: Safeco Field

Aperture: 2.8

Mostly I just think it's funny that all the people in the shot are reading and not watching the game.

Shot this the first day I took out my new camera after getting unexpectdly invited to an M's game. I had a few other Seattle shots that would have worked, but the humor in this one won me over.

I felt like it met the "corner" challenge on several levels. For anyone who's ever followed Seattle sports this will have more meaning...we're used to losing, but we'll still go to games even if we don't actually watch them. :)

Cleaned up the section sign a little bit and adjusted levels. Otherwise pretty much right out of the camera.

Nice "artistic" approach here.
Concentrating on the handrail and letting the shallow DOF turn the spectators into background interest is a complete reversal of what you would normally expect to see. It works well in my opinion as it is an unusual and fresh approach.
Don`t know how it will fare with the DPC voters though..but I hope they are kind to you.

Great interpretation of the challenge and a beautiful photo! I'm not a sports fan, but you are really telling a story here, well done!

this is nice. shallow DOF is really effective here. colours could be a tad punchier (just my taste).

Is 347 really the most important subject in this photo?

No fooling??? My corner is section 112!

I find the spectators distracting. I think greater DOF or a different angle would have worked better.
