| I like the sense that the light is shinely solely on that tree. As if it could just rise up and go "up to heaven" or something. Really beautiful rich tones! Oh boy - this is just stunning. |

Bold, daring, creativity at its best....I like it
(Shouldn't the bush be burning?)
If you tint the ridge behind the tree, L-R, and desat in front a bit you might get more of a spotlight effect. |

| Rikki - this is AWESOME! Love it! If I were going to be really nitpicky I would suggest dodging the upper right to make the light extend beyond the border of the image and I would bump up the green in the tree. This is really a great one - one of my favorite shots of yours. Good job! |

| sad to hear that this image was dq'd. the ray of light makes it. was it natural or a light effect? loads of rich colors, and i like the red tones in the scrub on the right edge of the hill. that light looks downright holy, and it would be great if that tree ended up glowing in the light. |

| very nice. so many things i like about this photo. the first thing that catches your eye is the ray of light that leads directly to the tree, very nice. the second thing is the way the cliff just drops off, especially to the left. |

| I loved this photo. Shame it was DQ'd. I also agree about the colours of the tree. If they stood out just that little bit more it would of really made it! Well done! |

| This is a beautiful shot excellently composed. I would agree with the bump in green on the tree. It would stand out even more. Too bad about the DQ. This would have done really well - probably in my top 10. |

| i really like the softness of the sky and the contrasty earth. One thing i thought that would imrpove this is perhaps more detail in the tree. Perhaps hold off on the contrast a little bit there... however that is just my opinion. |
