Man, it's not a person! I'd have to vote it down if it weren't so damn good. (Just kidding, I have an animal portrait as one of my ribbon winners) The DOF is so choice in this picture. Animal portraits are easier in the sense that you aren't trying to capture a sepcific personality trait, but still, I have to give this a 9.

A nice, strong portrait of a proud bird. I like the composition and though I'm not usually a fan of borders, this one works ok for me. Good luck in the challenge. 9
