I love the light on his face. It's too strong in the white spots, however. |

I like this. I kinda wish one of the patches of light crossed his face but the bill of his cap prevents that. |

Would have liked to see his face closer (tighter and closer cropp) with high contrast and B&W.... Cool picture.
Good luck... |

I really like the light and dark. The areas around his face look a bit grainy, but you might be going for that effect, which is cool. Overall, I like it. Nice change from the stereotypical female models. Good luck! 8 |

Very interesting image. I like the lighting. It looks like natural sunlight through a slotted window. But the non-lit area of the face is well done too. congrats. |

Sorry, but I don't like the effect of the light. |

I like this setup, wonder how a fill in flash would have worked here.. |

Nice attempt. If you had managed to get one of the light rays to fall on his eye and a bit of a tighter crop it could have been great. 5 |

Fabulous character shot. The light seems to hit in just the right places. It really highlights the beard. 8 |

I like this very much. It is striking and not the "typical" portrait. The lighting is wonderful and helps add to the drama of his countenance. I love the beard and craggy face. Your use of negative space helps showcase his features. I wish it were a bit tighter zoom, as I'd like to really study all of the textures of his skin. Well done. |

Nice picture. Interesting lighting. I think it's kind of funny, though, that the tip of his nose is lit. |
