being incredibly self critical this was the only peice of "I" left when I'd finished cropping.know it's not original or very good technically but I learned some more photoshop stuff while editing so not an entire waste of time.

sorry but this is too bright and seems out of focus to me

You may disagree with me, and that's okay, but this doesn't meet the spirit of the challenge in my opinion.

Focus is a little soft for a close-up of the eye. I think you would do better with more DOF so the lashes aren't out. They are too vivid and prominent to leave out of focus. Also, while I like the off-center position of the shot, I think you're a little too far off.

Not sharp and the composition doesn't work. Why are you cutting off the right side? If you wanted to keep the iris away from the center maybe try looking off to the side?

i think it would look cool if the only thing that outlined the eye was the eye lashes. maybe dodge out the skin parts.

Not a classic portrait, but still a great picture
Good luck

Seems slightly overexposed (bright) to me, but I like the concept.

I thought of trying this but never got around to doing so. Good thinking.

imo, this is a very risky entry. people might be expecting facial or whole portraits. but the capture is nicely done.

Too much reflection in the iris

a bit too much eye for a portrait, to me

Very good photo, but didn't feel it was in the spirit of the challenge. Felt like it would be unfare to others to give the score it probably deserved IMO.

Bit oversharpened for my tastes. Nice colors in the eye itself though!

Reflection in the eye distracts. Seems a bit over exposed. Sharper focus would help.

Wishing it were a little sharper- props for creativity though! :) I like that outside the box thing you got going on.
