feels like an old burnished copper pot..how did you finish this one? PP wise, the amber glow is great..gives this a real warmth

looks to me like you know exactly what you're doing. great work. i like the quiet concentration on his face. immersed in the paper and surrounded by clutter. i love it.

uh huh. This picture works on so many levels, I can't even begin to talk about it. But here goes. Firstly, the color processing adds a very nice "aged" appearance. The dodge and burn jobs, which were obviously done in painstaking manner, mirrors the excellent quality of concentration on the part of the subject as he reads his newspaper. Secondly, there is a significant contrast tonality employed here. Finally, the translucence of the bags adds a quality of etherealness and solidity both at the same time. It's both a feather-light imaginative spark, at the same time that it performs a role as a solid anchor to the image."
