| I like how the edge of the pavement leads you through the photo. Not sure about leading my eye down the drain though! ;) I would probably have cropped the drain out if possible, tried to get the whole newspaper pile in the shot and adjusted my gamma and contrast - it looks a little gray on gray to me. |

| Cool idea, just wish the papers were more framed in. The tree gets in the way a lot, i would've moved the papers and shot from the other side of the tree/trash can. |

| I think I would have tipped the bundle halfway into the gutter to emphasize the "discarded" aspect, and to appease any "fit-the-challenge" nit-pickers. |

| Shouldn't this picture be in the 'On the Curb in Black and White' challenge? I like the composition but too flat grey scale wise for my taste. |

| poor use of BW, look at Balck and Chrome, or Foliage to see how it should be done. I shot of a poorly lit curb is not very interesting |

| The B&W works well here. It might have upset someone, but it would be better if the garbage can and other stuff behind the tree had been removed for this shot. |

| This is an interesting photo but i think it's a weak interpretation of the challenge... i do see the 'road' in this shot but as I look at the photo, i ask myself "what is the subject of this photo?" |

| Gray and Gray. The papers should be on the road (these are the silly comments I get so why should I give different). Work on the black and white this is dull lifeless gray and gray. |
