Greetings from the Critique Club,

Did you get the message that your image is too small :) The post processing side of digital photography can be just as challenging to learn as using the camera, and it's just as important. If you need help getting the image size issue resolved, post something to the forums and you'll get plenty of help.

Being undersized it's difficult to critique the image as it's impossible to see any detail. From what I can see, the composition is nice. You use the rule of thirds well and you shot from a unique angle, rather then taking a straight on shot of your subject. The tree has a lot of curves and jagged branches making it quite interesting and a good subject.

Other then being too small, my only other critique is the coloring. A nice bright blue sky might really make this pop. I don’t know what the lighting or weather conditions were, or what you were going for, but the grayish sky is kind of gloomy and makes the photo look a little drab. Post processing could probably bring that blue out.

If you have any questions about this critique or wish to discuss it further, please PM me.

Nice Picture. Its almost "dizzying". Love the contrast with the sky.

Too small.

Almost a fractal - mandelbrot. Neat perspective. I wish it could have been larger as it is hard to assess other components.

The maximum size for a photograph is 640px on one side; this is 235px on it's long side - comparatively tiny. This is probably a very good shot - however, as it is so small, it's nearly impossible to see any detail.

Too small to see the details, which would have been nice because it's a nice silhouette. It seems a bit squashed though, but of course I don't know how the surroundings are.

Too small. Please try a larger image size (600x480 is nice) next time.

Too small. (It looks like a backward question mark too) Interesting photo though, can't tell if it's in focus because it's too small.

why so small?

The picture is too small in my opinion but if it waas bigger then it would be great!

The subject lacks interest to me - (I know it's hard to make "branch" interesting) -- perhaps a more dramatic/colorful sky as background would help? Also - a larger photo would help the viewer see what you saw.

Needs to be much larger and more defined. I can't tell what I'm looking at.

Very small so it's impossible to tell but despite the nice use of line there's no other element in the shot to focus the attention. A squirrel or birds roosting or something

nice composition, but you should take advantage of the 640 pixel size limit, yours is only 235 pixels.

Based on what I can see, this is an interesting composition with a lot of potential. I really reall y wish the size were bigger so that it could be appropriately jusdged and critiqued.
