How authentic-looking!

Nice period costumes. It really does look like an old photo (except back in those days, didn't everyone look at the camera because film was expensive? :))

Good use of duotone.

Nice -- certainly looks straight out of the past! My only nitpick would be that you probably should have kept their feet within the shot. Otherwise, it looks straight out of an old family album. Well done!

Why cut off their feet?

This looks like a very old photo, as it's surely meant to, and a very good setting for it as well. The people in it seem uncomfortable to be photographed (which if they were asked to dress up for this old-style photo I suppose I may understand), which has the drawback of making it look less like the 'welcome' of the title.

Pity the feet have been cut off, otherwise a nice strong composition.

Nice shot, good composition and it has a very nostalgic feel. The tone seems to be missing a true black, though, and this causes the shot to lose a lot of snap.

nice DOF/focus. I would like to see that they are standing on something (feet in the shot, otherwise very good

This is awesome. It looks so "vintage" and I like the naturalness of your subjects. (One teeny weeny nitpicky thing though -- did you have to cut off their toes?)

I like the concept here.... it really has the look of an old photo.... I think what lets it down is the people in the picture appear to have no interaction with each other, and almost look uncomfortable standing there together.... and I think you either needed the feet in or out of the picture... not half in half out.... overall though it is a good shot.... good luck, Todd.

great photo shame about the feet .

Very nice. This really looks like a perfect authentic, old picture. Nice job not over-doing the sepia toning.

Very interesting.... looks like an oldtime photo, which is what I'm guessing you were going for. There are some things that really bother me here though... There is quite a bit of extra space at the top, and the feet are cut off, but only slightly... filling the frame is always good, I would have positioned the camera differently, so that you got the entire subjects in the photo, and didn't leave as much room at the top. Watch Your Background! The window frame looks like it' half coming out of the girls head on the left, and completely growing out of the man's head. Also the business of thee background detracts from the subjeect, using a lower DOF, to clean up the background, would have helped this a lot.
