I had a change to visit a local amateur theatre. First row seat gave me a great opportunity to shoot close-up shots in available light.

I think I would have cropped it a lot closer and lost his left arm altogether. If you do that its a strong shot.

A very good example of how to capture high contrast in a colour image.
